Juliana Wells
Juliana Wells has attended international masterclasses held by acclaimed artists such as Nelly Miricioiu at Issigeac Music Academy, Leontina Văduva, Ruxandra Donose and Ramón Vargas at Salbek Opera Masterclass. In addition, she has worked with stage director/interpretation coach, Sharon Mohar (Les Maître Sonneurs), and vocal coach/assistant conductor, Liora Maurer (Metropolitan Opera New York) at Canto Vocal Programs.
During the 2024-2025 season, Juliana made her debut as Blonde in Mozart's Die Entführung aus dem Serail at the International Festival 4 Arts Snagov, conducted by Adrian Suciu. Other notable roles in her repertoire include Olympia (J. Offenbach - Les Contes d'Hoffmann), Gasparina (J. Haydn - La Canterina), and Giulietta (V. Bellini - I Capuleti e i Montecchi) in productions held at the National University of Music Bucharest. She won Sibiu Opera Gala 2025, performing under the baton of Giorgios Balatsinos, and has also taken part in the Tinere talente Festival Râmnicu Vâlcea (Young Talents Festival) 2024, conducted by Daniel Manasi.
Juliana Wells holds a Bachelor's degree from the National University of Music Bucharest, where she was the student of soprano of Georgeta Stoleriu, and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree under the guidance of soprano Iulia Isaev. In 2024, she was awarded the "Iolanda Mărculescu" Scholarship by soprano Felicia Filip.
